Big, broad aromas of black fruit, black pepper and woodsmoke give way to well-saturated black-cherry, tar and singed rosemary flavors in this dramatic and concentrated wine. Tightly knit tannins add great structure to the mouthfeel, setting the wine up for a long life. Best from 2026-2036.

Wine Tasting Notes
Biodynamically grown fruit delivered notable depth of flavor in this vintage. Complex flavors of black currant, plums, black pepper and mushrooms are layered over herbaceous notes of oregano and bay leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins and a lingering finish. The Butler will continue developing layers of character with an additional five to ten years of cellaring.
