The 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva di Famiglia opens to a deep garnet color, ripe cherry flavors and nicely etched oak tones with lingering smoke and spice. This blend of 90% Sangiovese with other complementary grapes pulls back in terms of mouthfeel with medium-rich texture and fresh acidity. The wine proves versatile and food-friendly. Drink 2022-2028.

Wine Tasting Notes
Chianti Classico Riserva di Famiglia is certainly the most representative wine of Cecchi. Produced only in years in which the grapes reach the quality desired it comes from the area of Castellina in Chianti. The color of excellent limpidity is of an intense ruby red. The aroma reveals broad and ethereal notes of ripe fruit and spices. The structure is elegant.
