Pinot Noir is Sometimes Called the Heartbreak Grape, But Its Refined and Romantic Nature Produces Magic in the Glass.

TASTING NOTES
House of the Dragon Oregon Pinot Noir is enticing on the nose with lovely aromatics, including tart red cherry and cranberry, followed by subtle earthy and savory notes. The palate is medium bodied with silky textures and delicious bright red fruit that shows just a bit darker in profile than the nose. This gem is garnet in color and lingers with a long, fruit filled finish. Alcohol 13.5%

WINEMAKING
Gentle techniques in the cellar and imagination in the vineyard achieved a fruit-driven style. The grapes were fermented in a combination of small open top fermenters and stainless steel fermenting tanks with selected yeasts propagated from cellars in Burgundy, pressed during the last days of fermentation, and racked as soon as the wine finished malolactic fermentation. Aging took place in a combination of small French oak barrels and larger stainless steel tanks for 8 months.

A beautiful and approachable example of Oregon's signature varietal sourced from: 25% Applegate Valley, 25% Illinois Valley, 25% Rogue Valley and 25% Willamette Valley.

    What else can I say? Its wine, and it does it's job very well. Great Pinot, fruity smell and taste with subtle flavors of vanilla and spice. Solid Choice.

    Not exactly the holy grail of wines, but it'll do for me. Drinkable, enjoyable, will be enough to hold off the winter for just a little longer.

    Soo smooth. I planned on saving it for the final season but I finished it off a lot quicker than I expected. I'll be ordering enough to last me until the end of the show this time around...

    The quality of this wine surprised me, given that it's a TV Show product. It's earthy, oaky, and smooth. Don't judge by it's cover, this wine is a performer.

    Its a good wine. Bought it more cuz im a fan of GOT than for the actual wine. But its a nice wine to drink while watching the show.
