Wine Tasting Notes
This light-straw colored Lula Cellars Anderson Valley Chardonnay is both complex and elegant, showing its cool-climate heritage with concentrated flavors and a dark and lasting texture that has perfectly bright citrus tones for balance.
It opens with warm spices, ripe pear and lemon aromas. It's distinctly Chardonnay. The various aromas overlap and mingle, producing an ever-changing bouquet that is the hallmark of our Chardonnay. New oak has been used sparingly to enhance the wine with subtle toasted and vanilla aromas, rather than dominate the aroma profile.
The Valley Foothills vineyard is located in the magnificent Anderson Valley and has a great reputation for producing outstanding Chardonnay. Every effort was made in the vineyard and winery to preserve the delicate floral aromas and flavors, bright acidity, and long lingering palate. Further enhanced by barrel fermentation, malolactic fermentation, and extended battonage. Enjoy now through 2028.
