Meteor's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Perseid is sumptuous and beautifully expressive in the glass. The 2012 is built on layer after layer of flavor. Raspberry jam, cloves, new leather and menthol are all precise and delineated throughout. Firm beams of tannin give the wine its energy and sense of drive. This is a terrific showing from Meteor Drink 2017-2027. (Antonio Galloni on October 2014)

2012 at Meteor Vineyard was a text-book Napa Valley vintage. Meteor Vineyard Perseid Napa Cabernet is richly colored, complex and balanced. Look for notes of wild bramble berries, currants, pepper infused chocolate, pain epice, sandalwood and a subtle savory base note. The balance is bright with a focus on structure. On the palate the tannins are firm but richly textured and chewy. The layers of flavor linger.
