Powerful aromas of dark cherry, strawberry jam and crushed star anise make for a hedonistic nose on this bottling. The palate ranges from black cherry to baked berry, with cardamom and more star anise as well as a firm tannic frame standing in the background.

The Walt Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is vibrant ruby in color. Bright fruit flavors of red cherry, raspberry and cranberry are complemented by a note of salinity distinctive to the region. Balanced acidity is at the fore, subtle oak is in the background, and refreshingly grippy tannin bolsters the fruit and richness.
